I am tremendously grateful when my active community take the time to express their feelings about our classes, here’s what some of them have to say…
It’s such a good class, your approach is so enthusiastic and I enjoy it and always feel much better for it.

Julia’s approach is inspirational, professional and her personality encourages you to achieve. Julia is the jewel in the crown to promote Suffolk as the most active County!
John Leitch – Move it or Lose it! Barton Mills & Freckenham
Thanks to the persistent persuasion from a village friend/fitstepper, I ventured to the village hall. Having never done dance or aerobic exercise classes before, I thought I would struggle to keep up and wondered if I would ever get to grips with the dance steps. I have now attended 11 sessions of FitSteps and love it. The enthusiasm of our smiling, happy instructor Julia, and the encouragement of a hall full of great people enjoying the music and dance, has kept me going. I already feel fitter, have a real sense of achievement and look forward to my Wednesday night workout.

Thanks for your encouraging approach that makes the Move it or Lose it! class so enjoyable!

I have been working in the Suffolk Community for 11 years as a Community Physiotherapist, I recently met Julia through one of my Patients who told me about a fantastic class she attends weekly with her friend. I then realised that several of my patients were attending these weekly classes. I started hearing more lovely comments from my patients about this wonderful exercise lady called Julia. My Patients love how the exercises to music really makes them feel like they have had a good workout. Julia encourages her members in a way that is caring and motivational, she adapts her exercises to fit all, but make this exercises group a challenge for all abilities. These classes are fun and inspire the members to return the next week. Julia is compassionate and easy to talk to about each individual’s needs. My colleagues have attended her classes “Move it or lose it” and FABS and felt the burn the next day. They are significantly younger too.
I would definitely recommend these exercises/health classes. Whether you want to get stronger or more flexible or just get moving again in later life this class is for you.

Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the confidence you have engendered (first of all) in getting me to the class and ensuring that I can safely complete the routines. Special thanks too for the self esteem you achieve and to the many of us who are so grateful for your special skills of inclusion you bring to the group, haven’t played ball games for years and it’s lots of fun, thanks!

I attended a free taster FitSteps class convinced that I wouldn’t enjoy it and here I am 3 years on and still loving it. Julia has an infectious enthusiasm and makes the classes such fun. It doesn’t matter if you’ve two left feet and don’t know your left from your right – everyone comes away feeling that maybe, just maybe you can dance after all.

I want to say Thank You for giving me the gift of dance…I would never have dreamt in a million years that after I left work, I would be going to a dance class that would teach me to Waltz, Rumba and Jive! I love every minute of our journey and feel blessed to have you as an Instructor. From your choreography and music selection to your dedication, infectious enthusiasm and your passion for what we do. I have never looked back and have gained confidence to keep going. Thank you for giving us you!
